Several prominent people from the immigrants and the Ansar have tried to propose to her. Responding to the proposal, the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. argues, that he was expecting the arrival of instructions from God Almighty about his daughter's.
One day Abu Bakr Siddiq ra, Umar Ibn al-Khatab ra and Sa'ad bin Mu'adh together Apostle of Allah peace be upon him sitting in his mosque. All the main character there is in you. Similarly, you are the relatives of the Apostle of Allah peace be upon him Some prominent companions submitted application to him to be able to marry his daughter. Application was by him all turned down. He suggested that the issue be submitted to Allah swt daughter, however, O Ali, why until now you had never mentioned his daughter was and why you do not apply for yourself? I wish may Allah and His Messenger will hold it for you princess. "
Hearing the words of Abu Bakr r.a. Imam Ali's eyes r.a. lachrymose. In response to those words, Imam Ali r.a. said: "O Abu Bakr, you have made my heart tremble that semulanya calm. You have been warned something was forgotten. By Allah, I really want Fatimah, but which becomes the only barrier to me is because I do not have anything."
Abu Bakr r.a. Imam Ali was moved to hear the answer that was pitiful. To raise and strengthen the hearts of Imam Ali ra, Abu Bakar ra said: "O Ali, do not you say something like that. For Allah and His Messenger, and everything in this world is just like a mere dust-drenched!"
After the ongoing dialogue as needed, Abu Bakr ra succeeded in pushing the courage of Imam Ali r.a. to apply for a daughter of the Messenger of Allah s.a.w.

He was a beloved of Allah and His Messenger, and he loves Allah and His Messenger!" Answer of the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. Umm Salma was not satisfactory r.a. He asked again: "Yes, but who is he?". "He's my brother, my favorite person!" Replied the Holy Prophet
Listed in a lot of history, that Umm Salma later recounts his own experiences regarding the visit of Imam Ali ra to the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. it: "I stood up quickly toward the door, until my feet stumbling. Apostle of God precedes said: "O Ali seems you have a need. Say what is in fikiranmu. What you need, will you got me!"
Hear the words of the Apostle of Allah s.a.w. such that, born Ali ibn Abi Talib courage to say: "Forgive, O Messenger of God. You may recall that you have taken me from your uncle, Abu Talib and your aunt, Fatima bint Asad, at a time when I was a child and not understand anything.

After God raise me and is now an adult, I want to settle down, live with a wife. Now I come face to apply for your daughter, Fatima. O Messenger of God, are you willing to accept and marry me with him? "

(Marriage should based solely seeking pleasure of Allah and His Messenger.'s Not in interfere with the pleasure of hope darimanusia (flattery, they say bad). .. I'm sure if God pleased at what we do, then we will be safe in the world and in the Hereafter).
ย ท Marriage is considered a barrier to please parents.

Improve Intention:
Innamal a'malu binniyat ....... Intention is the resurrection of soul and trends in what appeared to him in the form demanded an important goal for her, either immediate or deferred.
Intention When Choosing Assistance
Prophet said "Whoever is married (her daughter) because the glare of riches despite his bad faith and ruqyah, it will never dibarakahi his wedding, Who married a woman because of his position, God will add to her humiliation, Who would marry her because of wealth, God will only give her poverty, Who married a good woman because nasabnya, God will add humility to him, But who was married just because you want to keep the views and desires or because they want to deepen compassion, God always gives kebarakahan blessings and add it to her. "( HR. Thabrani.)
"Do not marry a woman because of her beauty, just maybe beauty it makes you despicable. Do not you marry a woman because property / his throne might be treasure / throne made you exceed the limit. However nikahilah women because of his religion. Because, a pious slave woman who, though ugly face is more mainstream. " (Narrated by Ibnu Majah).
Prophet SAW. He said: Do not you marry a close relative, because (consequently) a weak to bear children (both intellect and physical) (Al Hadith).
From Jabir r.a., Lo Prophet. had said, ยก ยง fact that women marry men because of his religion, position, wealth, and beauty, so choose a religion. "(Narrated by Muslim and Tirmidhi.) Intention of Marriage Process
Problems do not stop until the vote intention companion. Intention still accompany various matters pertaining to the wedding. Starting from giving dowry, spread walimah invitations, organizing walimah. Walimah more than two days closer to harm, being walimah third day including riya '. "Give mahr (dowry) to the woman (who you marry) as a gift with great eagerness." (Surat An Nisaa (4): 4).
Rasulullah SAW said: "Women are the most sublime barakahnya, is the lightest maharnya" (Narrated by Ahmad, Al-Hakim, al-Bayhaqi with a saheeh chain). From Aisha, that the Prophet SAW. hath said, 'Surely the great blessings of marriage is a simple shopping (maharnya) "(Narrated by Ahmad). Prophet Muhammad had promised: "Do not mempermahal value of dowry. Surely if he was noble in the world and piety in Allah, the Prophet himself who would become her marriage guardian." (Narrated by Ashhabus Sunan.) From Anas, he said: "Abu Talha married with dowry of Umm Sulaim become Muslim" (Ditakhrij of An Nasa'i) .. Subhanallah ..
The process of marriage affects intention. The process is simple and easy wedding, God willing, will bring the net intent, facilitate the process of marriage can clear intention. While the wedding will make the process more mengkotori intentions. "Please cut the celebration even if only one goat." (Narrated by Bukhari and Muslim)
Weddings must fulfill the criteria Lillah, Billah, and Ilallah. What is meant Lillah, intention is that marriage must be because of God. The process and the way he must Billah in accordance with provisions of God .. Included in the selection of candidates, and the process toward the level of marriage (net of courtship / lust or not). Last Ilallah, the goal in order to reach keridhoan God.
So in the administration of marriage is not adulterous in God, for example: the separation between male and female guests, no exaggeration, do not eat standing up (courtesy of food-party standing in the community usually this should be avoided, but it is not exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad that such ), Bride is not juxtaposed, adab mendo'akan bride with a prayer: Barokallahu baroka laka wa 'alaikum wa jama'a baynakuma Khoir FII .. (May Allah membarakahi you and bestow blessings to you), do not shake hands with the opposite gender, not excessively ornate ("And do not bertabarruj (decorated) as the first tabarrujnya ignorance" - Qs. Al-Ahzab (33),
Reaching spiritual Weddings
If someone is already filled with love and longing in God, then he will try to find someone who is together with them. Psychologically, a person will feel calm and at ease if side by side with the same person with him, either dalamperasaan, outlook on life and so forth. Therefore, blessed are someone who can feel the love of God from his life partner, that person is in the heart of God is fully present. They loved each other rather than on behalf of themselves, but in the name of God and for God.
How wonderful meeting of two beings who love and miss God's. Their marriage is not merely a meeting of two different personality types, but the confluence of two who are pursuing a spiritual journey towards God, love their loved ones. That is what is meant by spiritual marriage. If we QUALITY IN SIDE GOD, SURE WHICH ONE WILL ALSO COME (FOR OUR Soul Mate) WHICH BERKUALITASPULA (Al Izzah 18 / Th. 2)

Both parties mutually agree and enter into this contract. Both bride and groom have the liberty to define various terms and conditions of their liking and make them a part of this contract.
Mahr
The marriage-gift (Mahr) is a divine injunction. The giving of mahr to the bride by the groom is an essential part of the contract.
'And give the women (on marriage) their mahr as a (nikah) free gift" (Quran 4:4)
Mahr is a token commitment of the husband's responsibility and may be paid in cash, property or movable objects to the bride herself. The amount of mahr is not legally specified, however, moderation according to the existing social norm is recommended. The mahr may be paid immediately to the bride at the time of marriage, or deferred to a later date, or a combination of both. The deferred mahr however, falls due in case of death or divorce.
One matrimonial party expresses 'ijab" willing consent to enter into marriage and the other party expresses 'qubul" acceptance of the responsibility in the assembly of marriage ceremony. The contract is written and signed by the bride and the groom and their two respective witnesses. This written marriage contract ("Aqd-Nikah) is then announced publicly.
Sermon
The assembly of nikah is addressed with a marriage sermon (khutba-tun-nikah) by the Muslim officiating the marriage. In marriage societies, customarily, a state appointed Muslim judge (Qadi) officiates the nikah ceremony and keeps the record of the marriage contract. However any trust worthy practicing Muslim can conduct the nikah ceremony, as Islam does not advocate priesthood. The documents of marriage contract/certificate are filed with the mosque (masjid) and local government for record.
Prophet Muhammad (S) made it his tradition (sunnah) to have marriage sermon delivered in the assembly to solemnize the marriage. The sermon invites the bride and the groom, as well as the participating guests in the assembly to a life of piety, mutual love, kindness, and social responsibility.
The Khutbah-tun-Nikah begins with the praise of Allah. His help and guidance is sought. The Muslim confession of faith that 'There is none worthy of worship except Allah and Muhammad is His servant and messenger" is declared. The three Quranic verses (Quran 4:1, 3:102, 33:70-71) and one Prophetic saying (hadith) form the main text of the marriage. This hadith is:
'By Allah! Among all of you I am the most God-fearing, and among you all, I am the supermost to save myself from the wrath of Allah, yet my state is that I observe prayer and sleep too. I observe fast and suspend observing them; I marry woman also. And he who turns away from my Sunnah has no relation with me". (Bukhari)
The Muslim officiating the marriage ceremony concludes the ceremony with prayer (Dua) for bride, groom, their respective families, the local Muslim community, and the Muslim community at large (Ummah)
Marriage (nikah) is considered as an act of worship (ibadah). It is virtuous to conduct it in a Mosque keeping the ceremony simple. The marriage ceremony is a social as well as a religious activity. Islam advocates simplicity in ceremonies and celebrations.
Prophet Muhammad (S) considered simple weddings the best weddings:
'The best wedding is that upon which the least trouble and expense is bestowed". (Mishkat)
Primary Requirements
1) Mutual agreement (Ijab-O-Qubul) by the bride and the groom
2) Two adult and sane witnesses
3) Mahr (marriage-gift) to be paid by the groom to the bride either immediately (muajjal) or deferred (muakhkhar), or a combination of both Secondary Requirements
1) Legal guardian (wakeel) representing the bride
2) Written marriage contract ("Aqd-Nikah) signed by the bride and the groom and witnesses by two adult and sane witnesses
3) Qadi (State appointed Muslim judge) or Ma'zoon (a responsible person officiating the marriage ceremony)
4) Khutba-tun-Nikah to solemnize the marriage
The Marriage Banquet (Walima)
After the consummation of the marriage, the groom holds a banquet called a walima. The relatives, neighbors, and friends are invited in order to make them aware of the marriage. Both rich and poor of the family and community are invited to the marriage feasts.
Prophet Muhammad (S) said:
'The worst of the feasts are those marriage feasts to which the rich are invited and the poor are left out". (Mishkat)
It is recommended that Muslims attend marriage ceremonies and marriage feasts upon invitation.
Prophet Muhammad (S) said:
"...and he who refuses to accept an invitation to a marriage feast, verily disobeys Allah and His Prophet". (Ahmad & Abu Dawood)

NIKAH KHUTBAH TRANSLATED
Thanks be to Allah that we praise Him, pray to Him for help; ask Him for pardon; we believe in Him, We trust Him; and ask Him to guard us from the evil of our own souls and from the evil consequences of our own deeds. Whomsoever He leaves straying no one can guide him. I bear witness that there is no God save Allah, who has no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, whom He has sent with truth as a bringer of good news and a warner.
Now, after Hamd-o-Salat, the best word is the book of Allah, and the best way is that of Muhammad, on whom be peace. The worst of all things are innovations and every innovation leads astray, and every thing that leads astray leads to Hell.
Whosoever obeys Allah and His messenger will be guided aright and whosoever disobeys will cause loss to his own self (and thereafter). Hereafter, I ask the refuge of Allah from Shaitan, the outcast.
O mankind! Be careful of your duty to your Lord who created you from a single soul and from it created its mate and from them twain hath spread abroad a multitude of men and women. be careful of your duty towards Allah in whom you claim (your rights) of one another, and toward the wombs (that bear you). Lo, Allah hath been a watcher over you. [QURAN 4:1]
O ye who believe! Observe your duty to Allah with right observance, and die not save as those who have surrendered (unto Him). [QURAN 3:102]
O ye who believe! Guard your duty to Allah, and speak words straight to the point; He will adjust your works for you and will forgive you your sins. Whosoever obeyeth Allah and His messenger, he verily hath gained a signal victory. [QURAN 33:70-71]
FROM HAQ ISLAM
NIKAH (MARRIAGE)

Nikah, or nikkah, (Arabic: النكاح ), is the contract between a bride and bridegroom and part of an Islamic marriage, a strong covenant (Mitsaqon Gholizho) as expressed in Qur'an 4:21.
The first part of the marriage ceremony, nikah, is the signing of the marriage contract itself.
Various traditions may differ in how nikah is performed because different groups accept different texts as authoritative. Therefore, Sunnis will tend to accept Bukhari Hadith while Shia will have their own collections, for example Furu al-Kafi, thus producing different procedures. This contract requires the consent of both parties if they are adults. There is a tradition in some Muslim countries, outside of the religion, to pre-arrange a marriage for young children. However, the marriage still requires consent when the wedding actually goes ahead. A nikah allows both parties to add conditions. Islam does allow divorce (talaq) so this contract is revocable. Marriage is seen as a necessity in Islam and is seen as helpful in avoiding zina (extramarital sex) or cruelty. A marriage which is carried out unofficially without informing the public is called nikah urfi.
############################ from wikipedia
Marriage is an act which completes and encompasses the many teachings of Islam. It has been thus narrated in a Hadeeth that when a person marries, he has complete half of his religion and so he should fear Allah regarding the remaining half.
Shame, modesty, moral and social values and control of self desire are just a few of the many teachings of Islam. Furthermore, these are just a few of the many worships that a person can complete by performing the ritual of marriage. Through marriage a person can be saved from many shameless and immoral sins and through marriage he has is more able to control his desire. Therefore, the Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) has said:
for that will help him to lower his gaze and guard his modesty."
The creation of mankind has been made such that man requires a spouse to complete all that a man requires. Whilst Adam (Alayhis Salaam) was in Jannah he felt a particular loneliness and in response to this loneliness Allah Ta'ala created Hawa (Alayhas Salaam) as a companion for him. This clearly shows that Allah chose women to act as a companion for man and so that they can remove that loneliness and live in harmony. Allah has created our spouses from a part of us. It is a bond that is created by Allah Himself so that we can find peace and tranquillity within our spouses.
Allah has stated in Surah al-Rum:
that you may dwell in tranquillity with them;
and He has put love and mercy between you.
Verily in that are signs for those who reflect."
In conclusion, it is simple to deduce that marriage is a form of worship as well as a social necessity. We have been asked to increase the Ummah (followers) and the only permissible way in Islam is through Marriage.
Marriage is a strong oath that takes place between the man and women in this world, but its blessings and contract continues even in Jannah.
Marriage is the way of our beloved Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam), and whosoever goes against this practice has been reprimanded.
Hadhrat Anas ibn Malik narrates:
"Where are we from the Prophet as his past and future sins have been forgiven."
Then one of them said: "I will offer the prayer throughout the night forever."
The other said: "I will fast throughout the year and will not break my fast."
The third said: "I will keep away from the women and will not marry forever."
Allah's Apostle came to them and said,
"Are you the same people who said so-and-so?
By Allah, I am more submissive to Allah and more afraid of Him than you;
yet I fast and break my fast, I do sleep and I also marry women.
So he who does not follow my tradition in religion, is not from me (from my followers)."
Therefore, Islamically, we are all encouraged to get married and not turn away from the ways of our beloved Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Salaam).
It should be remembered that this duty of marriage is for both men and women. Just as men complete half their religion through this act, it is also the same for women.
########################### from simply islam
1. Nikah is a great bounty from Allah Ta'ala. The affairs of this world and the hereafter are put in order through marriage. There is a lot of wisdom and many benefits in marriage. A person saves himself from sinning and his heart is put at ease. He does not have any evil intentions and his thoughts do not begin to wander and stray. The greatest virtue is that there are only benefits and only rewards in this. This is because a husband and wife’s sitting together and engaging in a loving conversation, joking with each other, etc. is better than nafl salat.
2. A marriage can be executed by just two words, e.g. a person says the following words in the presence of witnesses: "I give my daughter to you in marriage." The person who is addressed replies: "I accept her in marriage." In so doing, the marriage is valid and both of them are lawful husband and wife. However, if the person has several daughters, the nikah will not be executed by his uttering the words mentioned above. He will have to mention the daughter by name, e.g. he says : "I give my daughter, Qudsiyyah, to you in marriage", and the person replies : "I accept her in marriage."
3. A person says: "Give so-and-so daughter of yours to me in marriage." The father replies: "I give her to you in marriage." In so saying, the nikah will be valid irrespective of whether he says that he accepts or not. (In other words, it is not necessary for the word "accept" to be mentioned).
4. If the daughter is present and the father says: "I give this daughter of mine in marriage to you", and the person replies: "I accept her", the nikah will be valid. It will not be necessary to mention her name.
If the girl is not present, it is necessary to mention her name and the name of her father in such a loud tone that all the witnesses are able to hear. If the people do not know the father and there is a strong possibility that by mentioning his name they will still not know whose nikah is being performed, then it will be necessary to mention the name of the grand-father as well. In other words, such identification is necessary whereby those present immediately know whose nikah is being performed.
5. In order for a nikah to be valid, it is also essential for at least two males or one male and two females to be present, to hear the nikah being performed, and to hear the two words (i.e. the offer and the acceptance) being uttered. Only then will the nikah be valid. If two persons sit together in privacy and one says to the other : "I give my daughter to you in marriage" and the other person replies : "I accept your daughter", the nikah will not be valid. Similarly, if the nikah was performed in the presence of one person only, even then the nikah will not be valid.
6. If there are no males present, but only females, the nikah will not be valid even if there are ten females present. Together with two females, one male has to be present.
7. If there are two males but they are not Muslims, the nikah will not be valid. Similarly, if both are Muslims but both or one of them is immature, the nikah will not be valid. Similarly, if there is one male and two females but both or one of the females is immature, the nikah will not be valid.
8. It is preferable to perform the nikah in a large gathering such as after the jumu'ah salat in a jumu'ah musjid or in any other large gathering. This is so that the nikah will be well announced and the people will become aware of the nikah. A nikah should not be performed in secret and privacy. However, if due to some reason many persons are unable to attend, then at least two males or one male and two females who hear the nikah being performed in their very presence should be present.
9. If both the man and woman are mature, they can perform their own nikah. All that they have to do is say the following in the presence of two witnesses: One of them must say: "I am making my nikah with you" and the other must say : "I accept." In so doing, the nikah will be valid.
10. If a person does not make his nikah himself, but asks someone to perform his nikah with someone, or, he mentions the name of the person with whom he wishes his nikah to be performed and this person performs this nikah in the presence of two witnesses - the nikah will be valid. Even if this person rejects or denies this later, the nikah will still be intact.
